Tamannaah Bhatia is an Indian film actress and model. She debuted in the Hindi film Chand Sa Roshan Chehra, at the age of 13. Since then, she has acted in several Tamil and Telugu language films.
Tamannaah was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India to Santosh Bhatia and Rajni Bhatia on December 21, 1989. She did her schooling in Maneckji Cooper Education Trust School, Juhu, Mumbai.
Tamannaah started her film career with a Hindi film, Chand Sa Roshan Chehra. She made her debut in Tamil film industry along with Ileana In Kedi which did not do well at the box office. Her debut film in Telugu was Sri in which she played the leading female role opposite Manoj Kumar.
Her Telugu film Happy Days brought her huge success which made her shoot up into limelight. In Tamil, the movie "Kalloori" won her accolades and critical acclaim. But it's her Tamil film "Ayan", that made her a leading actress.Her recent film Kandein Kadhalai which is the remake of hindi blockbuster jab we met with barath is doing well at box office presently in which she plays the role of kareena kapoor She is currenly acting in the film Sura with Joseph Vijay.] She also has experience as a model and has appeared in various ads
